Manas Bhadury

CEE Ph.D. student; M.S. Civil Eng., IIT Madras

Manas Bhadury is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Duke University. His research focuses on the design of novel metamaterials with tailored mechanical properties and engineered topologies, using advanced scientific machine learning techniques. Prior to joining Duke, he earned a B.E. in Civil Engineering from Jadavpur University and an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. His research interests lie primarily at the intersection of computational mechanics, scientific machine learning, and applied mathematics.
